Weather / Climate
Mountain weather can be very unpredictable, so the trick is to--always be prepared. Dress in layers so that you can add or subtract for comfort. In winter, just use heavier layers. And the wise traveler is always prepared for precipitation. more info
Traditionally, West Yellowstone is a very sunny place. Sunscreen is almost
always appropriate. Springtime tends to be the most wet and cloudy. Fall is
crisp, cool and frequently sunny. Our coldest winter nights are generally
followed by brilliant, sunny days.
