Grand Targhee is located 2 hours south of West Yellowstone in Alta, Wyoming. This is a great getaway option for powderhounds as Grand Targhee receives a whopping 500 inches plus (over 43 feet) of snow each season! With such abundant powder, Grand Targhee consistently gets top reviews from national ski magazines, placing it among the top five resorts in the West for snow quality and quantity. Most resorts can't offer this much natural snowfall (659 inches in 96-97)! Lodging
Ski-in/ski-out lodging at the base village consists of three lodges, two hotel-style and one condominium style including living rooms, kitchenettes, balconies, and fireplaces. Guests have full use of two hot tubs and a heated swimming pool. Lodging packaged are available, kids under 14 free. 

Area Recreation
15 kilometers of skate style Nordic skiing, snowshoeing tours, dog sledding, snowmobile tours, winter tubing, ice skating, Snowcat powder skiing adventures, sleigh ride dinners, spad, kid's club child care, and Powder Scouts Snowsports program. 

Snowboarding
Grand Targhee provides some of the best powder riding in the world with over 500 inches of annual snowfall. 

Cross Country
15 kilomoters of groomed track and skate style skiing along with snowshoe tours.
