Since summer is the busiest season (from late June through the end of August), few properties offer special discounts during this prime time of year. However, many do offer incentives in the shoulder months (April-May and September-October) while Yellowstone is still open for general auto touring. Nor are all lodging properties are open all year so make sure you understand whether your preferred establishment is open when you plan to visit.
When the Park re-opens for over-the-snow travel in winter, lodging is often sold as part of value-based packages that include various activities such as guided snowcoach and guided snowmobile tours.
