Golf Courses

Golfing in the high altitude of the Rocky Mountains can be an incredible experience for those used to playing in lower elevations. The ball flies further, the surrounding colors are deeper and greens tend to run faster. Though no courses exist in West Yellowstone, there are 4 public courses within a 75-minute radius.

These include Big Sky Golf Course, part of the Big Sky Ski & Summer Resort - located 47 miles north in the community of Big Sky, Montana; Island Park Village Resort Golf Course, a 9-hole course situated along the banks of the Henry's Fork River outlet, about 25 minutes southwest in Island Park, Idaho; Madison Meadows Golf Course in Ennis, Montana, an 18-hole course roughly 75 minutes northwest of West Yellowstone, and Aspen Acres, an 18-hole executive course located 15 minutes east of Ashton, Idaho, itself about 60 minutes southwest of West Yellowstone.
